A great website

Hi Everyone,

I know it has been awhile so i thought i would update..i haven't updated my workout schedule because i haven't taken the time to update it.  I was still doing Month 2 of Insanity and half way through week 2 my heel really started hurting so needless to say I will be making an appointment with a foot doctor to have it looked at so while i am not doing Insanity i have been doing some swimming in our pool since we got it put up.

Anyway I had a friend tell me about this wonderful website   www.dashingdishes.com and it has some amazing recipes and workouts.  She also has different meal plans for a small fee..i am looking into doing one of the meal plans.....

Well starting tomorrow morning....i will be doing Month 2 of Insanity.  I have decided that it is time to do something with eating as well..tomorrow i plan on going through all of cabinets and throw out anything that is not good for us....we do have beach pictures coming up in July so we need to lose some weight before then.

One other plan is to buy Chalean Extreme or Jillian Michaels Body Revolution....not sure which one but i think that either one would be beneficial!!!!

Starting Month 2 of Insanity on Monday

Well I have finished the recovery week of Insanity..even though i didn't do the DVD everyday because i don't like to do the same workout everyday....I will starting Month 2 of Insanity and I know it will be a tough month...I am thinking about adding on Chalene Extreme for more toning also...

Still going strong

Just finished up week 4 of  Insanity and it is still as tough as day 1 ..this week is my recovery week so we will see how that goes....i am hoping good considering next week I start Month 2 of Insanity....and i know those are very tough!!!!!  I am also thinking about ordering Chalene Extreme to do along with Insanity..it is a thought so we will see!!!

As for my eating well it is not going so well..i just want to keep eating eating and more eating and not the healthiest foods.....

Third Week of Insanity --- Month 1

Well it has been rough, but i have finally made it to the third week of Insanity!!!  I just keep pushing on and pushing on and "Digging Deeper".  I started the week of with a Fit Test and I increased my numbers on all of them even if it was only by 1 but that was 1 more than i did the first time around.  

I have also downloaded the app My Fitness pal ... love it..it is time consuming putting all the food in but it really helps me see where my calorie count is..i have also ordered a heart rate monitor to watch my heart rate along with calorie counting when exercising....

Week 2 almost over...

Well i have almost finished week 2 of Insanity .... it has been rough, but i feel that i am getting some what better ...at least i am not having to take breaks as much...now if i can just get my eating habits right......

Second week of Insanity

Well I started the second week of Month 1 of Insanity......Cardio Power and Resistance...can we say tough, but i did do better than i did last week..i held out longer on each interval....not completely to the point of finishing each move, but finishing the DVD is a big ACCOMPLISHMENT for me!!!!!

First Week of Insanity

It was a tough week but i got through the first week of Insanity, but i did take off 2 of the days but that is okay because i will do better this week for my second week....I can do this and will do this I know it will be tough but it is okay if i want results it is not supposed to be easy!!!!


I want to talk about something for a minute....Circle of Friends (Magnolia Chapter) had our First annual Taste of Magnolia event......it was a huge success..we had some great local food restaurants, AWESOME Live Band, and many great auction items!!! Big THANK YOU for all who showed up to help, eat, and bid!!!!

The week so far of Insanity....

Well i decided to change things up and do Insanity to its fullest....so i have almost finished the first week!!!!! It has been ROUGH!!!!  My biggest stumbling block is EATING...I LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat and they are not always the healthy things so i really need to get that under control .......

Maybe time for a new challenge

Well I almost finished the whole week of P90x, but i think I may go back to Insanity since it seems to be faster.....P90x just seems sooooo long for me even though most of the videos have the same amount of time.   Now Insanity is very tough, but i know if i set my mind to it I can do it.  Shaun T saying "Dig Deeper" ...i think i will keep telling myself that if i want to continue to do it.  I really need to figure out what is going to be great for us!!!!  I do need to start eating more healthy so that the weight will start melting off and i can start toning up!!!!!

Hope you continue to follow the blog..it may take us awhile to see what it great for us but we will achieve it!!!!!!!

Day 3 -- P90x -- Shoulders& Arms

Well day 3 is done or at least for me..Chad still has to finish day 3 since he had school today.....It was rough, but glad that i got it done!!!

Day 2 Week 1 P90x

Well Chad and I accomplished Day 2 of P90X -- Plyometrics....I told Chad that we could do CardioX since Plyo is very high intensity and he said NO..so i was proud of him for that....there were some moves that i could not do at the time, but I will get to that point.....So today is Arms/Shoulders this should be fun!!!!  Thanks to everyone that is keeping up with the blog!!!!!  

Chad and I are going to do this .. maybe slow but we will get it done!!!

P90X -- week 1 day 1

Well Chad and I got up early this morning and completed day 1 of week 1 of P90x...it was TOUGH, but well worth it when it was over....now if we could just get it together and eat right that would be even more AWESOME....

Going to check out Ayadani (in the old Sonic building)...didn't realize they had fresh grown vegetables and fruit.....we need to do something about our eating......

We will be doing day 2 in the morning...lets see how it goes.....

Well we didn't start P90x last week but we are planning on starting this week....we have really got to make a change for ourselves and our daughter....

A New Challenge

So i have decided it is time to straighten up and really focus on our lifestyles....i love to exercise but i wasn't eating right so that is why i only lost a total of 7lbs with the body challenge at Extreme...

Not anymore..it is time to eat right and workout..make a total lifestyle change...Chad and I are starting P90x on Monday..i have already started it but i am going to restart so Chad and I can do P90x together....time to make some changes.....I like to do Insanity but i don't think it was something for me because it is sooo intense, but it is a wonderful program if someone who really wants a tough challenge..Insanity is the way to go.  

With P90x we even got a nutrition plan that we can follow so that  will be great..later i will be taking pictures and doing our measurements to keep up with ....i am soooo loooking forward to this..i know it will be tough (especially the eating for me) but it will be well worth it in the long run...can't wait to see the results in 90 days.......

The other day i was reading an article on www.jillianmichaels.com and it talked about How to banish toxins...when i read the title i just thought it was about bad foods for your body but no it actually talked about different things that we may be cleaning our house with or cups we drink out of could be affecting our weight loss....

Ice Cream

Well I just ate a bowl of ice cream...i don't feel too bad though because  I haven't had a bowl of ice cream in awhile with that being said i still probably should not have eaten it but it is okay..i will have to work extra hard to get that off....

What to do???

I am at a rock and a hard place with losing weight.....it is soooo hard for me to eat right for one I am a picky eater so that throughs out many meals that are good for you because by the time i pick everything out that i don't like there is nothing left so needless to say my eating habits are not great.  Now i am just ready for some change in my workout routine....tired of the same old same old.....thinking about joining beachbody to become a coach and start doing more at home...i am just afraid i won't be as motivated to do it as i am when i go to the gym.....

Lets see how the way in is tomorrow..i have a feeling it will not be that great!!!!!

Looking into something different

Well I have been doing Insanity for the past few weeks and while it makes me feel good in the end it is getting real tough since my heel has been bothering me so i am looking into getting a new home video such as Slim in 6 or Project You which are both Beachbody products but have also looked into getting Jillian Michaels Body Revolution while i have not purchased any of these yet they are a few that i am looking into.  I also like class workouts at the gym such as Step and Pump, but it sometimes gets hard finding time and also with my heel bothering me it really limits me to do either one of those classes so i have really been lost so i figure i better find something to do at home....

I have never watched The Revolution on ABC but i found out there was a girl on there that i graduated with so I decided to watch it.  I really like the show...anyway watching this girl that i know struggle with her weight makes me realize that i am not the only one out there that struggles with weight and how to eat.....that is my biggest problem is my eating habits....i have horrible eating habits...i love love love to exercise but by the time I burn the calories i am adding them back on because i don't eat well...i know i need help with this problem and everybody tells me to write down what i eat every day, but it is just not a doable thing for me because i start out writing down everything but by the 3rd day i am done with it.....

Been Awhile...

Hi Everyone ,

I know it has been awhile....i just updated all of my weight results and started doing my workout schedule again..i haven't lost the weight that i know i can lose but i also have not wanted to eat like i should.  I have been doing Insanity more and let me tell you i think i am INSANE for doing Insanity but i am actually growing to like it..i need to get on a better schedule with it so that maybe i can melt some of this weight off.

I am going to try to do better with updating the blog.......

Not much going on...

Well I weighed in on Friday and I lost the two pounds that i had gained the previous week.  Chad on the other hand lost 3 1/2 pounds...go figure that out...LOL.....

It is Sunday and Caitlyn and I had a little fun doing Xbox Kinect ... now relaxing on the couch catching up on some Hallmark movies that i recorded.........

New Goal

Okay so i have thought of a new goal...see i have always wanted to be a runner but i have realized that it is very unlikely to do that because of the way i run ....it will hurt my shins.  Anyway so i thought that maybe i could start walking/jogging on the treadmill for at least 3 miles..for anybody who knows me ..this will be a challenge because it is hard for me to keep going after 1 mile.....

Relaxing sunday

We have had a relaxing Sunday...we got up and worshipped with our First Baptist Family.  Came home and got in relaxing clothes and have laid around catching up on shows....even got me an hour nap it...yahoo!!!!  Looking forward to another week...my goal for this week is to work out at least 4 times this week and lose 1lb........we will see!!!

Just another Saturday....

Well it has been a relaxing Saturday....woke up and went to the gym (Extreme Image) and took a step class...if you don't know what that is well it is a high impact cardio class where you do the routines on a step.  Then came home ate breakfast .....got ready and went to work for about an hour or two. 

Came home and have been relaxing and trying to get caught up on all my recorded shows on DVR......yay!!!!!

Todays weigh in 238 -- 2lbs gained, but that is okay I am not going to let that get me down.......i am going to keep doing what i am doing i will get to my goal no matter what.

First Weigh In 01/13/2012

Starting a New "Lifestyle"

Okay about 2 weeks ago we started a Body Challenge at Extreme Image.  I am excited about this because i am going to be held accountable but not so excited because that means eating right.  As some of you may know already I am a diabetic which means i should be eating right, but i know where i can splurge.  I know that i can do this because i have lost weight before but didn't stick with it and this time around Chad and I are going to do this challenge together. 

One of my biggest obstacles is going to be cooking the right kinds of things without eating them all the time, which is fine with me, but not Chad.

Starting Weight (1/8/2012) :241

Goal is to lose 30 lbs in 6 months and once i hit that goal i will make another one...my ultimate goal is to get down to 160-170 and a size 12.  I know this will be a long and hard journey, but  it will be worth it in the end.
